Explore and Create is a small company and we like to keep things simple. We care sincerely about privacy and the security of your personal information. This policy describes how we take care of things.
Frames is a personal space to make sense of your thoughts and ideas, so that information needs to be safe and secure. Frames saves notes as files on your Mac and makes back-ups in your private Apple iCloud account (where Apple looks after it). That's it. We never handle the information in your notes.
We have no way to personally identify people using Frames. Apple does not disclose your details to us, even if you have purchased a subscription. As you use Frames, we collect some anonymous information, about errors and unexpected events, to help us correct mistakes and better understand how Frames is being used.
If you have a question, a problem, or fancy a chat, then you can email us. All emails sent to us are stored privately and securely. We use Google Workspace. We usually keep email conversations for future reference, but you can ask us to delete them at any time.
Should you want to keep up with what we're up to, you may sign up to our newsletter. We use a small service called Buttondown to manage this, with tracking turned off. You can easily unsubscribe if we begin to bore you.
We use carefully selected web services to make sure you'll see no cookies, and are never tracked on our site. We use Plausible to understand how our site is used. Vimeo lets us turn off cookies and analytics on our embedded videos. We think we have kept everything clean. If you see anything let us know!
This policy may be updated as we add features to Frames and improve our support. Any updates will be published here. Any significant changes will be announced on Twitter and on our blog. If you have any questions about this policy or any information we hold, please do email us at firstname.lastname@example.org. Explore and Create Limited, 7 Bell Yard, London, WC2A 2JR, United Kingdom
